ALPHA PYRENEES TRUST LIMITED ("ALPHA PYRENEES TRUST" OR THE "TRUST")

Purchase of shares

The Trust announces that its Investment Manager, Alpha Real Capital LLP ("ARC") purchased 500,000 ordinary shares at 16p per share on 23 July 2012. This transaction represents 0.4% of the issued share capital.

This transaction was executed under the terms of an irrevocable, non-discretionary trading plan, which ARC entered into with Numis Securities on 29 June 2012 in respect of the close period for the Trust's interim results to 30 June 2012, which are expected to be published on 16 August 2012.

Following the purchase ARC will own 1,500,000 ordinary shares.
