TR-1: Notification of Major Interests in Shares

The Evolution Group Plc (the "Company") announces that it received notification on 27 April 2009 from Lansdowne Partners Limited being the General Partner of Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership (LPLP) and Lansdowne Partners International Limited ("Lansdowne") that in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules on 23 April 2009 Lansdowne held voting rights over 11,305,306 ordinary shares of 1p each of the Company ("Shares") representing 5.03% of the issued Shares of the Company.
Morstan Nominees Limited and Vidacos Nominees Limited are the registered Shareholders. The chain of controlled undertakings through which the voting rights are effectively held is Lansdowne Partners International Limited being the parent undertaking of Lansdowne Partners Limited.
