Cape PLC19 July 2005 Cape PLC ("the Company") Holding in Company Schroder Investment Management Limited informed the Company on 18 July 2005 thatthey had an interest in 9,272,685 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company("Ordinary Shares"), representing approximately 11.1% per cent. of the Company'sissued ordinary share capital. The shares are held in portfolios managed by Schroder Investment ManagementLimited on a discretionary basis for clients under investment managementagreements.
