Mecom Group PLC18 April 2007 Mecom Group plc18 April 2007 Mecom Group plc ("Mecom" or "the Company") Further to the successful completion of the Company's recent Placing and OpenOffer, and the resultant admission of 731,065,137 Mecom shares to trading on AIMon 12 April 2007, the Company was recently informed of the following changes tothe voting rights of Mecom's issued share capital, consisting of ordinary sharesof 0.6085888p each in the Company ("Shares"): As at 12 April 2007, Aviva plc & its subsidiaries now hold a direct and indirectinterest in 97,535,307 Shares. This holding represents approximately 6.67% ofthe voting rights of the Company's issued share capital. As at 12 April 2007, Lansdowne Partners International Limited now hold a directand indirect interest in 145,598,415 Shares. This holding representsapproximately 9.96% of the voting rights of the Company's issued share capital. As at 12 April 2007, Artemis Investment Management Limited no longer held anotifiable interest in the voting rights of the Company's issued share capital. Furthermore, the Company was notified on 17 April 2007 that, as at 13 April2007, Prudential plc group of companies now hold an interest in 94,834,854Shares. This holding represents approximately 6.48% of the voting rights of theCompany's issued share capital. The Company was notified on 18 April 2007 that, as at 13 April 2007, AMVESCAPPLC now hold an interest in 242,590,437 Shares.
