Maple Energy plc (AIM: MPLE; LIMA: MPLE), an integrated energy company with assets in Peru, was notified on 3 March 2011 that as of 22 February 2011, Citigroup Global Markets UK Equity Limited held a beneficial interest in 4,856,666 ordinary shares representing 3.25% of the issued and outstanding share capital of the Company on a non-diluted basis.
