Balfour Beatty PLC07 February 2008 Balfour Beatty plc ("the Company") has received notice from Citibank, N.A.London Branch, on behalf of Standard Life Investments Limited ("Standard Life")that Standard Life now hold 39,227,829 ordinary shares in the Company,representing 9.06% of the total voting rights of the Company.
