CRH PLC01 February 2006 CRH plc ("the Company") ----------------------- The Company received notification today, 1st February 2006, from Bank of IrelandAsset Management Limited that, as at 30th January 2006, they had an interest in42,721,272 Ordinary Shares of CRH plc, representing 7.96 per cent of theCompany's issued Ordinary Share Capital.
