easyJet PLC23 June 2006 easyJet plc ("the Company") Interest in shares The Company on 21 June 2006, received notice pursuant to sections 198- 202 ofthe Companies Act 1985, that Standard Life Investments on behalf of StandardLife Group have a notifiable interest (including material and non materialinterest), in 40,864,629 shares of the Company. This amounts to approximately10.041% of the issued share capital of the Company. The Company also received notice on 23 June 2006, that Standard Life Investmentson behalf of Standard Life Group, acquired on 23 June 2006, 872,404 shares ofthe Company. This increased the total number of shares held in the Company as amaterial interest to 24,505,254. This amounts to approximately 6.020% of theissued share capital of the Company.
