FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 18 May 2007 RIGHTMOVE PLC Change in shareholding
In response to the TR1 notification released earlier today announcing the disposal of 6,300,000 shares by Connells Ltd on 17 May 2007, Rightmove plc ("Rightmove"), the UK's number one property website, confirms that Rightmove will continue to benefit from all aspects of the commercial agreements entered into between Rightmove and Connells including the agreement to list all Connells estate agency properties on Rightmove until at least 2009.
Connells continues to hold 21,245,175 shares in Rightmove being 16.01 % of the issued share capital.
Stephen Shipperley remains appointed to the Board as a non-executive director pursuant to the Relationship Agreement entered into at the time of the flotation in March 2006, which provides that Connells Ltd is entitled to appoint a representative to the Board for so long as they maintain an interest in 15% or more in the Company's issued share capital.
