Notification under Part VI of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended)
Please note that on 23 February 2007, Slough Estates plc (the "Company") was notified that Lehman Brothers, acting as agents for its discretionary clients hold (either directly or indirectly) a beneficial interest and a non-beneficial interest of 2,200,172 ordinary shares of 25p each representing a total interest of 0.47% of the issued share capital of the company, thus taking this holding out of the 3% reportable threshold.
