The Board of MediLink was informed on 20 November 2009 that on 17 November 2009 Mr Heah Theare Haw purchased 500,000 ordinary shares in the Company. After this acquisition, Mr Heah has a direct interest in 21,262,500 ordinary shares in the Company, equivalent to 20.47 per cent. of the total issued share capital of MediLink.
Mr Heah also has an indirect interest in a further 2,889,840 ordinary shares in the Company (2.78 per cent. of the total issued share capital) by virtue of being a major shareholder in both Asdion Digital Advance Systems Sdn Bhd and Asdion Berhad, which are also shareholders in MediLink.
Mr Heah therefore has a total beneficial and non beneficial interest in 24,152,340 ordinary shares in the Company, equivalent to 23.25 per cent. of the total issued share capital of MediLink.
