ReNeuron Group plc30 August 2006 Letter to: ReNeuron Group plcDated: 17 August 2006 Notification pursuant to s198 Companies Act 1985 ("the Act") Following a sale by Allianz Cornhill Insurance plc ("Cornhill") of 4,665,000ReNeuron Group Plc shares (registered in the name of Bank of New York (Nominees)Limited) on 16th August 2006 we hereby notify you that Allianz AG andsubsidiaries (as detailed below) together with Cornhill no longer have aninterest in the issued share capital of your company. Allianz AG is the ultimate holding company of Cornhill. The shares in Cornhillare held by Allianz UK Limited, which is a direct subsidiary of Allianz EuropeLimited ("Allianz Europe") which is itself a 66.66% owned subsidiary of AllianzAG. The other 33.33% of shares in Allianz Europe are owned by AllianzLebensvericherungs AG ("Allianz Leben"), a direct subsidiary of JotaVermogensverwaltungs GmbH ("Jota"), which is itself a direct subsidiary ofAllianz AG. As a result of s203(2) of the Act, Allianz UK Limited, AllianzEurope, Allianz Leben, Jota and Allianz AG are no longer interested in theordinary shares in which Cornhill were interested.
