European Motor Hldgs PLC20 December 2006 EUROPEAN MOTOR HOLDINGS plc NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES The Company received notification on 19 December 2006 that as at the close ofbusiness on 15 December 2006, UBS AG, acting through various of UBS AG'sbusiness groups and legal entities, had a material interest in 6,431,050ordinary shares in the Company representing 11.74 per cent of the issued sharecapital of that class and a non material interest in 209,864 ordinary shares,resulting in a total of 6,640,914 ordinary shares representing 12.13 per cent ofthe issued share capital of that class.
