Fairpoint Group plc ("Fairpoint" or "the Company")
The Company was informed on 6 January 2011 that following an acquisition of 600,000 ordinary shares of 1p each, Perlus Microcap Fund Lp has a notifiable interest in the share capital of Fairpoint. Following the transaction Perlus Microcap Fund Lp holds 1,400,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company representing approximately 3.21% of the Company's issued share capital.
