City of London (LSE: CLIG), a leading specialist asset management group offering a range of institutional and retail products investing primarily in closed-end funds, announces that the Company's Employee Benefit Trust purchased 400,000 ordinary shares of 1p each on 11 June 2025 at a price of £3.40 per share.

Following these purchases, the Trust holds 1,750,055 ordinary shares in the Company representing 3.5% of the Company's issued capital, of which 854,550 (1.7% of the Company's issued capital) is held in custody for employees under the terms of the Employee Incentive Plan (EIP).
