Skyepharma PLC06 June 2007 SkyePharma PLC ("the Company") Notification of Major Interest in Shares In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules 5.1.2, we have receiveda notification dated 1 June 2007 from J.P. Morgan Chase & Co ("JP Morgan")stating that as at 23 February 2007, it held in the name of J.P. MorganSecurities Ltd a notifiable interest of 30,420,000 shares in SkyePharma PLC,which represents 3.73% of the voting rights in the Company. The shares were previously held under DTR 5.1.3 (4) (a) as shares within JPMorgan's trading book. The notification states that as of 30 May 2007 JP Morganthey have changed their intention with regard to the exercise of voting rightstaking it outside this provision.
