("Galiform plc " or "the 'Company ")

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the FSA,  the Company announces that Mr. Ian Smith, a non executive director, purchased 120,915 ordinary shares in the Company at 16.45p per share on the 3rd December 2008.

Following this purchase Mr. Smith now holds an interest in 154,110 ordinary shares in the Company representing 0.024% of the Company's share capital.
