BlackRock, Inc. informed Mattioli Woods plc (AIM: MTW.L) on 28 May 2008 that as a result of a transaction on 23 May 2008 it holds a notifiable interest in the Ordinary Shares of the Company.

The holding of 865,526 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.03% of the Company's issued share capital of 17,215,910 Ordinary Shares, is held by BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited on behalf of certain discretionary clients.
