Weir Group PLC25 January 2006 THE WEIR GROUP PLC 25 January 2006 Fidelity International Limited ('FIL') and FMR Corp notified The Weir Group PLC("the Company") on 25 January 2006 that their material interest now totalled aholding of 16,141,592 ordinary shares in the Company representing 7.87% of theCompany's issued share capital as detailed in the table below, and that suchnotification also comprised the interest of Edward C.
