Oxford Instruments plc was notified on 18 June 2009 that Howson Tatersall Investment Counsel Limited on behalf of itself and Mackenzie Financial Corporation (which has an individual notification obligation) has an interest in 2,765,397 Ordinary Shares of 5p each which, represents 5.6% of the issued share capital of the Company.
