UK Coal advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, it was notified on 25 June 2008 that following a transaction on 24 June 2008 Deutsche Bank AG has a notifiable interest in 4,715,865 ordinary shares of 1p, representing 3.00% of the voting rights in the total issued ordinary share capital of UK Coal.
