Mondas PLC09 January 2006 For immediate release 9 January 2006 Mondas plc ("Mondas" or the "Company") Holding in Company Mondas announces that the Company was recently notified that, as at 23 December2005, AXA Investment Managers UK, held 1,342,000 Mondas ordinary shares,equivalent to 4.75 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company. Of which 42,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.15 of the issuedshare capital are held by Sun Life Pensions Management Ltd and 1,300,000ordinary shares in the Company, representing 4.61 of the issued share capitalare held by HSBC Global Custody Nominees (UK) Limited.
