MFI Furniture Group PLC16 November 2005 16th November 2005 MFI Furniture Group Plc Notifications for the purposes of sections 198-203 Companies Act 1985 The Company has received notifications pursuant to Section 198 of the CompaniesAct 1985 ("the Act"), that at the close of business on 14th November 2005: - BriTel Fund Nominees Limited (the owner of Hermes Pensions Management Limited), both directly and indirectly, had a notifiable interest in 69,184,177 10 pence ordinary shares of MFI Furniture Group Plc (11.03 per cent of the issued share capital);- within this holding, Hermes Focus Asset Management Limited (a subsidiary of Hermes Pensions Management Limited) had a notifiable interest in 25,330,651 10 pence ordinary shares of MFI Furniture Group Plc (4.03 per cent of the issued share capital);- as an investor in the Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund, Ram Trust Services Limited on behalf of its clients has a notifiable interest of 3.02 per cent of the issued share capital of MFI Furniture Group Plc.
