TR 1 Notification of Major Interest in Shares
The Company received notice on 8 October 2008 from Standard Life Investments Limited in fulfilment of the obligations imposed by the Financial Services Authority in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5. A disposal of shares on 7 October 2008 gives a total interest of 19,745,445 ordinary shares representing 14.98% of the issued share capital of the Company. The controlled undertaking through which the voting rights are effectively held is Standard Life Investments Limited.
