R&R Holdings S.A. ("R&R") previously held 604,336,627 ordinary shares issued by British American Tobacco p.l.c. (representing 30.1% of the issued share capital of BAT) and Reinet Investments S.C.A. was the ultimate parent company of R&R for the purposes of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules. R&R has transferred 19.5% of its holding of British American Tobacco Plc shares to Reinet Jersey Holdings Limited and Reinet Investments S.C.A. upon the cancellation of Reinet Investments S.C.A. and Reinet Jersey Holdings Limited's interest in R&R. Reinet Jersey Holdings Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reinet Investments S.C.A.. Following the transfer, Reinet Investments S.C.A held 351, 032, 964 BAT shares directly and 39,003,663 indirectly through Reinet Jersey Holdings Limited. Reinet Investments S.C.A's overall holding of British American Tobacco p.l.c. shares for the purposes of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules has therefore been reduced to 19.5%
