HOLDING(S) IN COMPANY
Pan Pacific Aggregates PLC (the "Company") received notification on 1 June 2009 from Barclays PLC in compliance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTR") that, following the disaggregation of certain holdings held for the benefit of its clients, it no longer has a notifiable interest in the voting rights of the Company. In accordance with DTR 5.1.5, Barclays PLC has been able to disregard certain voting rights held in Pan Pacific Aggregates plc for the purposes of this notification.
