Japan Residential Investment Company Limited (AIM: JRIC) is a closed-ended Guernsey registered company established to make and hold investments in residential property in Japan.
The Company announces that on 21 June 2013 it was notified that Aviva Investors had sold on that day its entire shareholding of 51,281,250 ordinary shares (representing 27.4% of the Company's issued ordinary shares). The sale was arranged as a block trade to a number of new and existing institutional shareholders at a price of 59.0p per share.
Raymond Apsey, the Company's Chairman, commented:
