Capital & Counties Properties PLC has received the following notification of interests in the Ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company held by STC International Limited and Novatrust Limited.
The Company understands that these shares were formerly disclosed within the Gordon Family Interests previously disclosed as 10.96%, and this notification reflects a change in the way the various interests are administered. The remainder of the interests are held by family members or their nominee companies, none of whom is currently required to make a disclosure under the DTRs.

| STC and Novatrust are the trustees of different trusts representing the interests of the Gordon Family and the interests of other families. This notification reflects a change in the way the various Gordon Family interests are now administered by the trustees. The ultimate controlling entity of STC and Novatrust is Spes Bona Limited. |
