London: 15 March 2012 - ECR Minerals plc advises that the Company was notified on 14 March 2012 by Mr C. Webb that following an acquisition of ordinary shares of the Company of 0.1 pence ("Ordinary Shares") on the same date, Mr Webb is the beneficial holder of a total of 35,709,281 Ordinary Shares, equating to approximately 5% of the Ordinary Shares in issue. The Company has a total of 713,909,432 Ordinary Shares in issue with each carrying the right to one vote.
