Celtic plc (the "Company") announced that it received notification on 11 January 2013 that Forrest Securities Limited, a company wholly owned by Christopher David Trainer, acquired 8,344,864 ordinary shares in the Company from Mr Trainer on that date.

Following this acquisition, Forrest Securities Limited holds 8,546,371 ordinary shares in the Capital of the Company, representing 9.45% of the issued ordinary shares and 8.19% of the voting rights in the Company.

Taken together with Mr Trainer's other indirect holdings in the Company, Mr Trainer is interested in 10.78% of the issued ordinary shares and 9.33% of the voting rights in the Company.
