Maple Energy plc (AIM: MPLE; LIMA: MPLE), an integrated energy company with assets in Peru, was notified on 4 February 2011 that on 2 February 2011, BlackRock, Inc., had increased its indirect holdings to a beneficial interest in 4,638,187 ordinary shares representing 3.11% of the issued and outstanding share capital of the Company on a non-diluted basis.
