TR-1: Notification of Major Interests in Shares

The Evolution Group Plc (the "Company") announces that it received notification
On 20 October from Royal Bank of Scotland Plc as Trustee of the Merrill Lynch UK Dynamic Fund ("RBS") that on 14 October 2008 RBS were interested in 16,442,110 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares") representing a direct interest in approximately 7.32% of the issued Ordinary Share Capital of the Company. This notification is in respect of voting rights breaching the 7% threshold from 13,317,181 (over 5%) announced on 5 June 2007.
The holding of RBS forms part of the overall Blackrock, Inc shareholding of 19,984,734 (8.907%) Shares as at 17 October.
