Boot(Henry) PLC14 December 2006 We have been advised by Hermes Administration Services Limited that: a) The UK Small Companies Focus Fund ('SCFF') has reduced its holding of ordinary shares in the Company from the previously notified 1,535,000 to 1,206,000 (registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited a/c HFAMSCFF) which constitutes 4.630% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. b) Royal Mail Pension Trustees Limited is one of the partners of SCFF and, in addition to its undisclosed percentage interest in the holding in a) above, also has a holding of 298,827 ordinary shares in the Company (registered in the name of Possfund Nominees Limited a/c PODIRLND) which itself constitutes 1.147%of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company. c) The Trustees of the BT Pension Scheme is one of the partners of SCFF and, in addition to its undisclosed percentage interest in the holding in a)above, also has a holding of 439,644 ordinary shares in the Company (registered in the name of Britel Fund Nominees Limited a/c BTDIRLND) which itself constitutes 1.688% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
