The Hermes UK Focus Fund
On 17 September 2008 Hermes Investment Management Limited notified the Company (under the obligations imposed by Section DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules) that, as at 16 September 2008, The Hermes UK Focus Fund had a notifiable direct interest in the voting rights attached to 31,155,646 Ordinary 13 8/9p shares of The Rank Group Plc ("Rank"), representing 7.978% of the issued share capital of Rank.
