The Company announces that, on 22 July 2008, it received notification that, following the acquisition on 21 July 2008 of 30,450,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), Guinness Peat Group plc and its subsidiary companies now have a direct interest in 34,293,668 Ordinary Shares, representing 15.23% of the total voting rights in the issued share capital of the Company.
