Northumbrian Water Group PLC28 April 2005 Northumbrian Water Group plc Northumbrian Water Limited Holding in Company and Resignation of Directors In accordance with Sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985, NorthumbrianWater Group plc (the Company) was notified on 28 April 2005 by Suez EnvironmentUK Limited (SEUK) that as of 28 April 2005 it had sold its 25% shareholding inthe Company (representing 129,655,961 shares in the Company). As a result ofthis disposal SEUK no longer has a notifiable interest in the ordinary shares ofthe Company. Following the disposal of this shareholding, the Company has received theresignations of SEUK's nominated directors, Bernard Guirkinger and ChristopheCros, with effect from 28 April 2005. Bernard Guirkinger and Christophe Cros have also resigned as directors ofNorthumbrian Water Limited with effect from the same date.
