HydroDec Group plc27 October 2006 Hydrodec Group PLC ("the Company") Replacement re: Holdings This announcement replaces the announcement made by the Company on 18 October2006 regarding the holding in the Company by Fidelity International Limited.That announcement incorrectly stated that the change in holding resulted fromacquisitions rather than disposals. The announcement remains the same in allother respects. The full text of the amended announcement is set out below: The Company has been notified that, following disposals, Fidelity InternationalLimited ("FIL") and its direct and indirect subsidiaries now hold 14,056,985ordinary shares of 0.5p each in the capital of the Company, representingapproximately 7.87% of the Company's issued share capital. The interests arenon-beneficial and include interests held by unit trust schemes in the UK and,by virtue of his shareholding in FIL, Mr Edward C. Johnson 3d.
