Webis Holdings PLC31 January 2008 WEBIS HOLDINGS PLC ("Webis" or "the Company") Issue of equity, holding in company and voting rights and capital The Board of Webis announces that on 30 January 2008, it successfully placed9,848,888 new Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each in the Company with BurnbraeLimited, at a placing price of 4.315 pence per Ordinary Share. The Placing has raised £425,000 for the Company before expenses. The fundsraised will be used to further develop the Company's website, for marketinginitiatives and working capital. Application will be made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AIM andtrading is expected to commence on Wednesday 6 February 2008. Following this transaction, Burnbrae Limited now has a beneficial interest inthe enlarged share capital of the Company of 107,391,465 Ordinary Shares,representing 51.92% of the Company's issued share capital. Webis' capital at 31 January 2008 consists of 206,826,667 ordinary shares withvoting rights. The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury. Therefore, thetotal number of voting rights in the Company at 31 January 2008 is 206,826,667.
