BTG PLC : NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES

 

BTG plc (LSE: BGC) has received notification that OppenheimerFunds, Inc. has increased its shareholding in the Ordinary Shares of BTG plc to 4,730,069 shares, from 4,694,091 announced on 25 November, held on behalf of various OppenheimerFunds, Inc. clients.

 

On 4 December 2008 BTG plc allotted 104m shares to the shareholders of Protherics PLC in order to complete the acquisition of the company. Following this issue of shares, OppenheimerFunds, Inc, holding fell below the 3% reportable threshhold.
