Uranium Resources plc, announces that on 27 March 2009 it was notified that as at 26 March 2009, Barclays plc, through its subsidiary Barclays Stockbrokers Ltd, acquired 1,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company, taking its total interest to 20,747,457 ordinary shares representing approximately 7.13% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
