Churchill China PLC20 May 2005 Churchill China plc ("the Company") Holding in Company In accordance with sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985, as amended,the Company was advised on Thursday 19 May 2005 that Landfinance Limited hadpurchased 350,000 ordinary shares of 10p each representing 3.2% of the issuedordinary share capital of the Company on Wednesday 18 May 2005. Following thispurchase Landfinance Limited held 500,000 ordinary shares of 10p each,representing approximately 4.6% of the issued ordinary share capital. The Company was further advised on Friday 20 May 2005 that Landfinance Limitedhad purchased a further 50,000 ordinary shares of 10p each representing 0.5% ofthe issued ordinary share capital of the Company on Thursday 19 May 2005.Following this purchase Landfinance Limited now hold 550,000 ordinary shares of10p each, representing approximately 5.1% of the issued ordinary share capital.
