Boot(Henry) PLC20 April 2007 Notification of Major Interests in Shares In accordance with the requirements of the Disclosure Rules and TransparencyRules, the following announcement is made in respect of Mr. J.S. Reis, adirector of the Company, in respect of his direct and indirect holdings ofvoting rights in the Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each in Henry Boot PLC andconstitutes a re-disclosure of previously notified holdings of which there havebeen no changes. Mr. J.S. Reis has a direct holding of 602,622 shares and his wife, Mrs. S.A.Reis, also has a direct holding of 74,202 shares, a total of 767,824, whichconstitute 2.59% of voting rights. Mr. J.S. Reis, Mr. P.J.M. Scott and Mr. J.J. Sykes are joint trustees of variousReis family trusts with holdings of shares totalling 3,834,352, registered inthe name of 'Rysaffe Nominees and Mr. J.J. Sykes', which constitute 14.71% ofvoting rights. Mr. P.J.M. Scott and Mr. J.J. Sykes are joint trustees of a Reis family trustwith a holding of 607,048 shares, registered in the name of 'Rysaffe Nomineesand Mr. J.J. Sykes', which constitutes 2.33% of voting rights. Mr. J.S. Reis and Mr. P.J.M. Scott are joint trustees of a Reis family trustwith a holding of 253,231 shares, registered in their joint names, whichconstitutes 0.97% of voting rights. Mr. J.S. Reis, Miss E.J. Reis and Mrs. C.M. Mytum are joint trustees of TheFulmer Charitable Trust, a registered charity, with a holding of 1,147,916shares, registered in their joint names, which constitute 4.40% of votingrights.
