The first notification advised that on 25 October 2006, Morgan StanleySecurities Limited ("MSSL") had acquired an interest in the ordinary shares ofDrax that resulted in a total holding of 11,568,250 shares, being approximately3.13% of the issued share capital of Drax. The second notification advised that on 26 October 2006, MSSL had disposed of an interest in the ordinary share capital of Drax with the result that MSSL and the Morgan Stanley group companies which are direct or indirect holding companies of MSSL, no longer hold a notifiable interest in Drax.
