Notification of a Major Interest

PureCircle (LSE: PURE), the world's leading producer and marketer of high purity stevia ingredients, has today been notified by one of its substantial shareholders, Wang Tak Company Limited (which includes the holdings of Mr. Tan Boon Seng and his spouse), that following recent purchases of PureCircle shares from the open market, their total interest held in the Company has increased to 42,563,390 shares representing 25.08% of the issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

Wang Tak Company Limited ("Wang Tak") holds 41,316,037 of these shares and Mr. Tan and his spouse hold 1,247,353 shares. Mr. Tan is a director of Wang Tak (a company wholly owned by Lee Hing Development Limited where he is a substantial shareholder).

The average price of these purchases since the last notification is GBP5.848.
