On 15 February 2010, The Rank Group Plc ("Rank") received notification, under the obligations imposed by DTR5 of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules, from BlackRock, Inc. ("BlackRock") that, as at 12 February 2010, BlackRock had a notifiable interest in the voting rights attached to 19,238,527 ordinary 138/9p shares representing 4.92% of the total voting rights in Rank made up as as follows:

Indirect voting rights attached to shares

- 15,478,496 representing 3.96% of the total voting rights in Rank

Nominal voting rights arising from contracts for difference

- 3,760,031 representing 0.96% of the total voting rights in Rank
