Cape PLC24 July 2006 Cape PLC ("the Company") Holding in Company Schroder Investment Management Limited informed the Company on 21 July 2006 thatthey had an interest in 10,947,507 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company("Ordinary Shares"), representing approximately 13.11 per cent. of the Company'sissued ordinary share capital. The shares are held in portfolios managed by Schroder Investment ManagementLimited on a discretionary basis for clients under investment managementagreements.
