On 25 January 2012 the Company received a notice of initial substantial holder in the ordinary shares of the Company (Form 603) from Nomura Australia Limited on behalf of Nomura International plc stating that, as at 23 January 2012, there had been an acquisition of 1,004,500 ordinary shares for £0.07 each.

Following the acquisition, Nomura International plc now holds 24,107,426 Nyota ordinary shares representing approximately 5.04 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
