TR 1 Notification of Major Interest in Shares
The Company received notice on 17 July 2008 from Standard Life Investments Limited in fulfilment of the obligations imposed by the Financial Services Authority in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5. A disposal of shares on 16 July 2008 gives a total interest of 23,606,272 ordinary shares representing 17.91% of the issued share capital of the Company. The controlled undertaking through which the voting rights are effectively held is Standard Life Investments Limited.
