Powerflute Oyj05 February 2008 5 February 2008 Powerflute Oyj (AIM:POWR.L) Notice of Significant Shareholding Powerflute Oyj (the "Company") received notice on 5 February 2008 that as ofthat date Bacchantes Limited ("Bacchantes"), a company controlled by Sir MichaelSmurfit, the brother of Dermot Smurfit, Chairman of the Company, increased hisshareholding from 13,728,000 shares of no par value ("NPV") representing 15.60per cent. to 15,253,000 shares of NPV in the Company representing a 17.33 percent. of the Company. Bacchantes acquired 1,525,000 shares of NPV in the Companyon 4 February 2008 at a price of 49 pence per share. The Company's issued share capital at the date of making this announcement is88,000,000 shares of NPV.
