Laura Ashley Holdings plc ("the Company") received notification on 18 July 2008 from Bonham Industries Limited that on 16 July 2008 it purchased 100,000 of the Company's ordinary shares of 5 pence each at an average price of 0.21125 pence per share increasing its total shareholding to 184,970,822 ordinary shares, representing 25.41% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company (excluding treasury shares).
The Company's Chairman Dr Khoo Kay Peng, KKP Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and Soo Lay Holdings Sdn. Bhd. are each interested in the above shares.
